MIKVE MA’AYAN HASIMHA
Dedicated in honor of its donor Mrs. Simy Benquesus, the elegant, luxurious Mikve Ma’ayan Hasimha first opened it’s doors Rosh Hodesh Nisan, March 17, 1999.
The name “Ma’Ayan Hasimha” means “Spring of Happiness”. Chief Rabbi Assayag wrote this in a letter to the community, “It is our hope that the women of the Jewish community, through this great Misva, will experience the highest degree of happiness in their lives”. And with five beautifully decorated, fully equipped preparation rooms, a steam room, a spacious waiting area, a bride’s room and private underground parking there is good reason to believe this hope is being fulfilled.
The Mikve Spa is open to all Jewish backgrounds and traditions and the inclusion of a bridal room accommodates this custom; The female relatives of the bride celebrate with the bride on the occasion of her first visit to the Mikve.
