Since its inception in November 1994, the Sephardic Institute of Torah studies, better known as Medrash Torah Vehayim, has been offering classes and shiurim with a special appeal to Sepharadim from a wide spectrum of backgrounds and affiliations.

It serves as a classic Bet Medrash as well as a contemporary hall for outreach work. An affiliate of the Sephardic Rabbinate of Ontario, Medrash Torah Vehayim offers the Sephardic community an alternative to the already existing institutions operational in Toronto.
