Special Selihot
The traditional yearly Selihot will take place on Motsae Shabat, October 4 at 12:30 am, beginning with speakers.

Mikve for Men
The Mikve will be available for all men on Erev Rosh
Hashana, Monday, September 29, and Erev Yom Kippur,
Wednesday, October 8, between the hours of 2:30 - 3:30 pm.
Please bring your own towels. $10 per person.

Rosh Hashana
Monday morning, September 29, we will be doing Hatarat Nedarim, after shaharit services.

Tuesday, September 30, at 5:45 pm we will meet at the synagogue and walk to Tashlich.

Thursday, October 2, is the fast of Gedalia.

Minha will be at 7:00 pm with Tefillin and the fast will be over at 8:00 pm.

Shabat Shuba Derasha
October 4, 2008 at 5:30 pm.

Kaparot
We will be doing Kaparot until Wednesday morning, October 8th.

High Holiday Daycare
A supervised daycare will be available for all children on Rosh Hashana from 10.00 am - 1:00 pm and on Yom Kippur from 12:00 - 8:00 pm. This year we have added special services and programs for all children under twelve years of age. Special baby sitting for infants and supervised daycare is also available. Arrangements for a private room for feeding and changing your infants has also been made. As you can see, we have gone to great lengths to make the High Holiday services a pleasure for all, and we hope that you will take advantage of these services and respect our request for decorum in our main
sanctuary. Thank you for your cooperation.

Karate
Sundays, starting November 9, 2008 from 10-11 am in the gym.
Ages 4-8. In the 8 week karate program, the children will be exposed to practical self defense, blocks, kicking, punching, karate games etc.
All the programs will be run by a qualified martial arts instructor.

Beginners Hebrew for Adults
Learn to read and write Hebrew in 5 classes!

Don’t know what to do with your hametz garbage before Pesah? We have the solution!! We have arranged for garbage pick-up at the Sephardic Kehila Centre parking lot for 11:00 am on Wednesday April 8th, 2009. Please make sure to drop off your garbage before that time.
We will also be offering a community Biur Hametz at the Sephardic Kehila Centre parking lot at the same time.
